Mission

Modern Hairstyling Institute is a private vocational institute established in 1957 under the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. The Institute’s mission is to educate students in the art and science of Basic Cosmetology, Advanced Cosmetology Barbering, Nail Technician, Massage Techniques and Manual Therapy, Esthetics and Professional Make-up with the intention of preparing them for a profession that generates income in a short period of time. Also, through our education, the Institute prepares students for the validation exam required by the State Department.
