Mission

The broader mission of Bet Midrash Ohel Torah is to produce dedicated graduates who will become upstanding members of the Sephardic community. Despite their eventual chosen fields they will continually contribute to the strengthening and preservation of their rich Sephardic heritage. Ultimately, our vision is to develop a Sephardic institution which will prepare the groundwork for the next generation of followers of the Torah. Another objective of our program is to give our students the ability to attain self-confidence and scholastic excellence. We emphasize the moral application of Talmudic principles through daily Mussar (Jewish Ethics and Philosophy) lectures.
