Mission

Yeshivas Emek Hatorah aims to introduce high-level and academically motivated postsecondary Yeshiva students to a new sophistication and echelon of learning. Until now, a student’s exposure to Talmud learning was limited - based almost exclusively on the lectures of his instructors. In contrast, the postsecondary experience at Yeshivas Emek Hatorah extends further, seeking to develop the student’s personal thinking process, combined with the analysis of the Talmudic decisions and discussions. Hence, the student is challenged to apply his own reasoning and knowledge in order to grasp the inner-meaning behind a legal opinion or decision found in the Talmud.
